We are thrilled to welcome Gaby as SRLA's new President & CEO. Gaby brings with her a passion for youth empowerment and deep experience with community impact work that will be pivotal in furthering SRLA's mission.

Gaby was was born in Mexico, raised in the Northeast San Fernando Valley, educated in LAUSD classrooms, and graduated from Stanford with a double major (Communications and Urban Studies). She has been supporting SRLA on the Social & Community Impact team at Nike for over 8 years.

Gaby brings a passion for sports-based youth empowerment and experience with social impact that will be pivotal in furthering SRLA's mission to uplift LA's youth. She has been engaged in social justice changemaking for more than two decades. Gaby's work has focused on building relationships to enhance public-private partnerships, impact, and community outreach.

Gaby ran her first marathon alongside SRLA students at the 2018 Los Angeles Marathon, including the 18-miler SRLA Friendship Run, and has been inspired to support SRLA students on the journey to the finish line and beyond.

"It is an incredible privilege to join the SRLA Family. I have been so impressed by the amazing students and leaders in this program, and the incredible heart and commitment they’ve shown to reach the marathon finish line and prepare students to succeed in life.

I have seen the dedicated work of the SRLA staff and am looking forward to being part of such a passionate team."

Thank you, Gaby, for becoming a part of this SRLA Family! We are so excited for the road ahead.
